Painted as part of a challenge to paint directly from life daily through January, these Sylvanian family (or Calico Critters, as known elsewhere in the world) offer a unique chance to acquire a quirky, contemporary still-life lovingly painted, for a fraction of the normal price of one of my original oil paintings, simply because they are something very different for me.
